As a wine enthusiast, I am constantly on the lookout for new and interesting wines to try and for recommendations on what to drink. One way I have found to discover new wines is by following wine influencers on social media and reading their blogs. In this blog post, I wanted to share some of my favorite wine influencers that I have discovered and why I enjoy following them.

  1. Madeline Puckette (@madelinepuckette) – Madeline is the co-founder of Wine Folly, a website and book that provides wine education and resources for wine lovers. I love following Madeline because she is extremely knowledgeable about wine and shares interesting wine facts and information in a fun and approachable way.
  2. Eric Asimov (@ericasimov) – Eric is the chief wine critic for The New York Times and has been writing about wine for over 30 years. His articles and reviews are always insightful and well-written, and I always learn something new when I read them.
  3. Jancis Robinson (@jancisrobinson) – Jancis is a renowned wine critic and journalist who has been writing about wine for over 40 years. I appreciate the depth and breadth of her knowledge and the way she writes about wine with passion and authority.
  4. Melissa Cole (@melissacole) – Melissa is a UK-based beer and wine writer who has written several books on the subject. I love following Melissa because she has a great sense of humor and is always sharing interesting and diverse wine recommendations.
  5. Victoria James (@victoriajames) – Victoria is a sommelier and wine director at a Michelin-starred restaurant in New York City. I enjoy following Victoria because she has a wealth of wine knowledge and experience and shares her insights in a thoughtful and engaging way.
  6. Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee) – Gary is a well-known entrepreneur and wine enthusiast who shares his thoughts on wine and business on his popular YouTube channel and social media accounts. He is always trying new wines and sharing his thoughts on them in an entertaining and informative way.
  7. Anthony Giglio (@anthonygiglio) – Anthony is a wine writer, educator, and judge who has written several books on wine and spirits. I appreciate the way he writes about wine in a accessible and engaging way, and he always has interesting recommendations and insights to share.
  8. Alice Feiring (@alicefeiring) – Alice is a wine writer and natural wine advocate who shares her thoughts on wine and the wine industry on her blog and social media. I enjoy following Alice because she has a unique perspective on wine and is always willing to challenge the status quo.

I find their content to be consistently interesting and informative, and they have a large team of knowledgeable writers and reviewers.
  10. Wine Spectator (@winespectator) – Wine Spectator is another well-known wine magazine and website that covers a wide range of topics related to wine. They publish in-depth reviews, news, and feature articles on wine, and I always find their content to be well-researched and informative.
