I just got new Orkut design invitation! Frankly! I did not like the new look at all. It’s so childes and boring. No comparison with Facebook, even this new look don’t compete with old Orkut look.
Fonts are very big, icons are not in the proportionate size. Biggest joke is they have used ‘open box’ icon for Profile. Even not all pages designed with new look.
I lost my detailed profile, including social, personal and professional. It took me at least 5 mins to figure out where it is.
If I change the color on top, it does not reflect everywhere and only changes the top header background, everything else remains blue. And most importantly, if I change the tab like Scraps or videos, entire screen flicker with old color and then paint with new color choice.
I doubt, Google is really interested in Orkut! They must be busy with Google Wave! If this is the new look they are going to release, I will quit Orkut!
